Statistics Table Explanation |

The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library maintains weekly statistical analyses of the logs produced by the library's Apache Web server. We use the WebTrends Log Analyzer software to collect the information from each week's log files, and store it in a summarized database. Reports are then generated for various aspects of the Library's website, and the services that it hosts.

There are several different reports generated each week. The first of these, the Full summary, includes every file and directory hosted on the website. Specific reports are also generated for the WebPath Internet Pathology Laboratory, the Knowledge Weavers directories, the Main Library website, plus a final report to cover all portions of the website that don't fit one of the other three specialized reports.

For older statistics, a different set of reports was generated. The first of these, the Quick report, included stats for the complete website, but lacked any graphs. The second of these, the Executive report, excluded the WebPath directories, but includes graphs.

Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are listed by year (see the top of this page).

Reports:

• Full - Everything.
• Library (mid-2006 and later) - Root website excluding directories:
  /envirodx, /hart, /joy, /kw, /library, /newenco, /nmw, /tommy, /webpath.
• Library (June 2006 and earlier) - Root website plus /library directory.
• Weavers - /kw directory only.
• WebPath - /webpath directory only.
• Basic - Everything except Library, Weavers, and WebPath reports.

Older Reports:

• Quick - Everything, no graphs.
• Executive - Everything except WebPath, graphs included.

There are no monthly reports prior to November, 1999.
