Jeanne Marie Le Ber
Jeanne Le Ber has worked at the Spencer S.
Eccles Health Sciences Library since 1979. She received her Masters
of Library and Information Science from Brigham Young University in
December 1992.
As the Education Librarian, Jeanne is responsible for coordinating the formal education efforts of the library in a team environment. She works with faculty from the Colleges of Health, Nursing and Pharmacy and the School of Medicine to identify, schedule and teach information literacy classes, with an emphasis on using electronic resources and software applications.
Jeanne currently teaches Bibliographic Management classes, specifically EndNote for Windows, Reference Manager for Windows and RefWorks. In addition, Jeanne teaches PowerPointBasics, PowerPoint AdvancedTechniques, PowerPoint Posters, Photoshop: Scanning with Adobe Photoshop and PubMed MEDLINE.
Jeanne is the current editor of the IAIMS Newsletter and she coordinates the Library and Information Technology Forum, which is held the second Wednesday of each month at Noon in Classroom B or C in the School of Medicine. The Forum is one way the library informs the health sciences community of the latest and greatest innovations in electronic resources and technologies. (Current CV as a PDF document.)
Jeanne is an avid birdwatcher and member of the Great
Salt Lake Audubon society.
