Alice has worked at Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library since November 2001. She earned her Masters of Library Science from Emporia State University in August 2002. Alice earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 1972 and was a practicing RN until she returned to school for her Masters degree.
As Collection Development Librarian Alice evaluates and selects new materials for acquisition and prepares acquisition and deselection policies and procedures. She monitors inventory of the collection and its usage and participates on the Journal Evaluation Committee. Additionally, she assists with Virtual Reference and teaching classes on library resources.
As Coordinator of Educational Technologies, Alice functions as a liaison with the College of Nursing and provides technical support and educational session to College of Nursing faculty and staff and serves as a resource to encourage use of new educational technologies.

Alice is the mother of 5 grown children and enjoys the beach, hiking in the mountains, biking, traveling, and learning.
